In Tempe az a mother, age 35 was arrested after pepper sraying her two youg daughters ages 10 and 15.

Michelle Dawn Antone 35 woke up around 4 in the afternoon after being wasted on saturday. She was acting crazy towards her daughters supposedly.

Who in the world would pepper spray their daughters you ask? A drunk degenerate that looks like this:

tempe-mother

The two girls left the house, and when they came back around 6 p.m. Antone began asking them for her keys, which were locked in a room. The oldest daughter told Antone she couldn’t get into the room.

According to the release, Antone became angry by this and sprayed the girls with pepper spray. Tempe, AZ

She then fled the house. Antone was found soon after by police at a neighborhood park near McArthur and George drives, where she was put under arrest on suspicion of aggravated assault.

I hope this lady gets locked up for a while- no kids deserve to be treated like that.

Mesa police and city officials announced a crackdown this week on scores of suspected illicit massage parlors that have sprung up in the city, but two detectives have already been on the case for nearly a year.

The number of massage parlors in Mesa has increased more than 60 percent over the past three years, from 73 to 119 with nine licenses pending. That number includes businesses that offer standard, therapeutic massages, and an unknown number that police believe offer back-room sexual services behind blacked-out front windows at all hours of the day and night.

Because it is difficult to prove prostitution without putting officers in compromising situations, detectives John Fitzgerald and David Heckel are forced to rely on city code citations as their main method of enforcement.

massageThe article continues to tell the story of the detectives staking out and cracking down on these horrible parlors, who do no harm to anyone and actually provide a service to the community. And what can they do to these “criminals”? Nothing much, they can give them a ticket for not having a valid license to massage people. I think this is rediculous that the state pays these and other detectives to investigate a non-violent crime, and then do nothing about it other than hand out a few tickets to people that are not hurting anyone, in fact they are giving massages and they feel good. Maybe if these 2 cops tried to prevent some kids from using meth, or prevent a burglary, or something that helped the public Phoenix could climb out of being one of the most crime ridden cities in the U.S. Just a suggestion for my tax dollars.

Monday this week the courts in phoenix were prepared for 3600 speeding ticket citation attendees- but the crowd never showed up. One group did gather however, but it was not to pay fines, it was a group gathering to oppose the speed cameras altogether called camerafraud.com. What better of a place to gather signatures for an initiative to ban the cameras than from the people who had gotten tickets in the first place anyway, good thinking.

radarWith only about 15% of the people that had court dates appearing, you would think that the courts would easily breeze through the lines. But that was not the case, the lines were out the door beginning at 8am and continued untill at least noon, even with extra security and staff on hand to help.

“The problem is speeders,” he said. “There’s too many speeders in Arizona.”

What do you think? Are the fines just for these people? Personally I would like to see all of the cameras gone tommorow, but i’m sure that will not happen as there are plans for more and more to go up. All I know is I won’t be paying any of these tickets for pictures being taken of me.

If you have gotten a speeding ticket in the mail and you are wondering if you have to pay it, you probably don’t, you will learn that it is technically illegal of the government to make you pay anything.

Okay this story didn’t happen in Phoenix but it definitely affects the valley as a considerable amount of drugs that come from the border end up in good old Phoenix.

pot-bustThe Border Patrol has a huge job ahead of them, as more and more people are trying to smuggle themselves and other drugs and weapons into the U.S.

This Last week the border patrol had another seizure near the border that was pretty large, 2230 pounds of pot and a few automatic guns were confiscated. There were 22 people carrying these products through the desert outside of Nogales, AZ. The agents reportedly used new forms of surveillance technology to find the large group.

The subjects fled and dropped their merchandise after they were discovered by agents, but they were soon aprehended. The agents seized $1,784,000 of pot, two ak-47’s and a loaded .45.

guns

But for every group of smugglers that are caught, 10 more get through which begs the question- are the border patrol doing anything to combat pot? If it became legal would we still se smuggling through the border? Only time will tell.

A .40 BAC in Scottsdale?

This guy, Dorean Sears who is 37 just had a bad night at around North 100th Street and North Thompson Peak Parkway in Scottsdale AZ. His alcohol content was about 5 times the legal limit, and that is pretty impressive for most.

What time was he pulled over you ask? 1 o clock in the afternoon, on a Wednesday! There was a blood draw that was inconclusive although, with results pending. Either way, this guy is going to be wearing pink sometime in the near future. Hopefully he will be moving on to better things.

192000$ Gone! Rebecca Sue Sota To Blame

rebecca

Tuesday morning July 7th this woman, Rebecca Sue Sota was apprehended after a year long investigation into her financial situation. She previously was working for the McClintock High Bookstore before she was fired.  Her theft accounted two years of fraud and misleading authorities.

Soto had worked for the district since 1980, holding a few different jobs. The Bookstore was providing her with some extra income, and she was seen carrying around  bags of cash on July 30,2008.

My only question is why did it take a year to deal with this problem, as investigators had to build a case against her. I hope this lady goes to jail for a long time, the school system already doesn’t have any money, and she stole it almost directly from the kids.

lightrail2

In Tempe the light rail is getting very popular and is running more of the time. Some people have not adjusted properly to the new form of transportation.

The other day in Tempe near the ASU section of the lightrail a 20 year old girl named Sharuice Corrine Mayhew was traveling east near apache when she tried to make an illegal U-turn in front of the light rail and hit it, then she left.

The reason was for the run and gun was that Sharuice was driving on a suspended license, but she was caught almost immediately as cops saw her leave the scene and arrested her shortly after.

Lucky to be alive? Not quite, neither the light rail or the car that she was driving was damaged badly at all.

Phoenix Hit Man Tells All

hitmanJack Ballentine, an ex undercover cop for the Phoenix Homicide division has had to have nerves of steel in his long career of infiltrating the underground community in Phoenix AZ.

He used to get hired to kill people, and then he videotaped it. In his long 15 year career as an undercover officer, he has had many disguises and stories including everything from a dirty biker to a well connected mafioso.

With his well developed skills and hard nose attitude, he led police forces on 24 murder stings where he was going to do the deed himself. It just goes to show, sometimes its good to have the bad guy on your side as things are not always what they seem.

He is currently writing a book and his story is possibly being considered for a movie.

Question: Does a moment stand out for you when you felt you slipped in front of your kids, where some of the frustration and anger from the criminal world carried over?

Answer: It was a daily, constant battle to not allow that to happen. What you’ll see in the book is that I’m a chameleon. I’m seven different characters at the same time, making sure I’m keeping touch with that, trying to make sure none of that bleeds over into the family except the way I look. The family stuff turned out to be OK, but it came to a point where I couldn’t do it anymore. There was a point I could not run the streets any longer, mentally, emotionally. I was getting sick. It was killing me.

Q: At a cocktail party, how do you describe your work as an undercover hit man to people who don’t know you?

A: I usually don’t. I usually don’t like to talk about it because I feel like it’s bragging. All of a sudden I become a novelty item, and it wasn’t a novelty life. It was a for-real deal. For the people I was hired to kill, it was even more real.

Q: If you were a criminal and you had to choose one of your criminal personas to live in, which one would you choose?

A: They all had an interesting side to them. The biker, the convict – there’s a brotherhood within those groups. You can count on them at any time. As violent and bad as they are, they’re very giving people. The mob guy, that world is just so rich with parties, fun, money – but I tell you, it will wear you out in a minute. When it all comes down to it, there’s not one I would want to be in forever. I like mine. My choice was a lot better.

Q: If the story gets picked up for TV or a feature film, who plays you and how do you hope the story is conveyed visually?

A: As far as how the story is conveyed, it should be conveyed the way it is in the book. As far as who plays me, I haven’t really given it much thought. Who’s the guy with the knives coming out of his hands (actor Hugh Jackman, who played mutant superhero, Wolverine, in the X-Men movies)? He’s very chameleon-like himself. He could move between being an (undercover hit man) to being a father.
